I feel truly privileged to represent Government Arts and Science College, Tholanur, a young and vibrant institution established in 2018. Set up under the Government sector in the Tarur constituency, the college was founded with the vision of extending higher education opportunities to students from nearly twenty higher secondary schools in the surrounding region.

Many of our learners come from modest family backgrounds, yet they have been able to achieve their aspirations through the committed guidance of our distinguished faculty, meaningful peer interactions, and the motivation drawn from our serene natural environment. The moment one steps onto our campus, there is a palpable sense of encouragement to push boundaries and excel in academics, culture, and sports.

In today’s fast-changing world, our college provides the right atmosphere to pursue higher education with focus and composure. I owe deep gratitude to our dedicated faculty, library, and administrative staff, whose efforts make our institution a nurturing space for students. I am also sincerely thankful to the Government of Kerala for its progressive policies and generous support, which help us transform our vision into reality.
